Circus Spectacular and Food Truck Carnivale

Our FOOD TRUCK CARNIVALE is on the move again and heading to Buchanan Park, Berwick on the 14-16 October 2022.

Over 3 days in Berwick we are combining our Food Truck Carnival with the colourful characters from The Connected Circus. This will truly be a family friendly event with Fire performances, Roving characters, Kids workshops and an open Circus space for all ages

Circus Activities
Circus space
This colourful and engaging space will be open from 12pm-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. There is a range of Circus props to play with and instructors to help you learn them. As well as an undercover Games space, there is an Outdoor Active Games area and even a space for toddlers.
Workshops
Our fun kid-friendly workshops will be running on Saturday & Sunday in the Circus space. Join us at 1pm for the Happy Hoop Dance workshop to learn new Hooping tricks and funky dance moves. At 2pm there is a Nimble Ninjas workshop where participants can learn how to use a Bo Staff and throw a Rope dart with our trained Ninjas. Then at 3pm our Pirates will be spinning Pois and swinging swords
Roving characters
On Friday, Saturday & Sunday between 5pm and 7pm keep an eye out for our Roving characters. You might see our Viking Tourists, Svérn and Bёkk who are a bit lost. You will find them checking out the sights, meeting carnivale-goers and definitely not plundering or pillaging...much. Also, you might bump into the Glamorous Green Pixie and her hairy Minotaur. She has been training him, but he is not a fast learner and believes everything is food. You are allowed to pat him but watch your fingers.
Fire Performances
On Friday and Saturday night at 8pm & then again at 8.45pm, check out our Fire Folk who will be performing a highly flammable and energetic Electro-swing set using a selection of Fire props including Fans, Staffs, Poi and Dragonstaffs.
